 German models conquer the top of fashion industry

Female model agencies are the special agencies which use various booking departments for keeping the track of those who use models. Every model agency has a manned phone and separate which can be visited by the clients. The most famous female model agencies are IMG and DNA. They are known to advertise and perform other kinds of activity to find available models.
Claudia Schiffer is not only one of the most popular German models; she is also one of the most unique supermodels in the early 1990s. Appearing in the advertisements of the sexy magazine Guess at the end of 1980s made her extremely popular all over the world both with men and with women. Claudia was recognized internationally.
The girl was born on August 25, 1970 in Germany. Her mother was a homemaker and her father was a lawyer. It is funny to know that the girl did not dream of the model career in her childhood. She preferred being a lawyer in the successful company of her father.
Claudia's dreams of becoming an attorney went up in smoke when the girl went to a night club with her friends where she was noticed by Michel Levaton, a modeling agent. Soon Claudia flew to Paris for her first shoot. A real star was born. Claudia was recognized after her picture appeared on the cover of Elle magazine. In 1989 the girl was chosen as a new face for Guess. Moreover, while taking part in the Guess campaign the girl also managed to work for five magazines in the USA and seven magazines in Europe.
Being one of the most well-known German models, Claudia managed to appear on the covers of more than five hundred magazines. Her calendar is always one of the best-selling items.
The girl has also managed to make a lot of TV appearances. For example, she has appeared in such shows as The Tonight Show, Larry King Live, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and The Late Show with David Letterman.
Claudia has also developed her acting career by appearing in a number of different feature films working together with such stars as Robert Downey Jr. and Mike Tyson. One of her recent films is Black and White (2000).
Beside modeling and acting the girl manages to perform a lot of other activities. For instance, she has released her own exercise video. Together with her fellow supermodels (Naomi Campbell, Elle Macpherson and Christy Turlington) she opened the trendy Fashion Café.
Claudia has a number of hobbies. She likes to paint, to read, to dance, to ride a horse, to play tennis and to ski.
Claudia speaks three languages: German, English and French.
Diane Kruger is another of the most popular German models. She was born on July 15, 1976 in Germany. She has a younger brother Stefan. As a child she dreamt of becoming a ballerina. She studied with the Royal Ballet in London. Nevertheless she was not destined to become a ballerina because of an injury. Diane had to turn to modeling and to become one of the most famous German models. In 1992 at the age of 15, Diane was a finalist in the Year competition of Elite Look. In the 1990s Diane became a very successful model. In spite of the fact that she was a great success, the career of a model is always sort-lasting whatever successful you may be. That is why Diane decided to make a change in her career. She started acting. Luc Besson, a celebrated French director, offered her to move to Paris. That's what she did. In 2001 the girl married a French director and actor, Guillaume Canet.
